Traveler Reviews

This was a great tour! We had Will and would definitely recommend him. Great stories and a lot of fun. Our only complaint is that you’re not able to go into any of the buildings or sites you stop at, while other tours do. Overall, a great time!!

I can't speak to the tour, because they texted us to cancel 30 minutes before the tour time, and called about 20 minutes before the tour. We were supposed to be there 15 minutes in advance, so our group of 7 had finished dinner nearby and were about to walk to the tour. It was the night before Thanksgiving. They said that their tour guide was sick, and a back-up person was getting a covid test. On the other hand, they have very strict cancellation policy for customers, a small excerpt: " ...We will NOT acknowledge any verbal / over-the-phone request or voice mail. Verbally speaking with a customer service representative or tour guide without emailing a request will not guarantee that your cancellation has been processed or acknowledged. We will NOT accept email cancellations unless they have a complete, signed, and attached Cancellation Form." I give them 2 stars because they cancelled literally as we were ready to walk to the tour. We previously had been cancelled for the same ni

We had a great ghost tour of Charleston with Massey as she was fantastic! Not only did she give us spooky tales of Charleston, but she provided us a fascinating history of the city along with many of its most famous inhabitants. Five stars all around!

First I'd like to say that our tour guide Will was really sweet. He told a lot of very interesting ghost stories and took us to many sites along the route...with tales to go with all the stops. What was disappointing was that we were the only two on the tour. While we did get personalized attention, I enjoy touring with others. This, of course, was not the fault of the tour company. The other disappointment was that we couldn't go into any of the cemeteries, while we were watching many other tours go in them. Will explained that tour companies need permits for that, and Charleston Terrors does not have that arrangement.

This was really fun! Our guide was amazinggg! She was very educational about the history of Charleston and had real interaction with ghosts. She even showed us some videos and pictures she collected. I was spooked a few times too listening to her horror stories. If you do not believe in ghosts before, YOU SURELY WILL after the tour. I can’t wait to be back!
