I did the jewel of the south tour with Evans. He is an walking talking encyclopedia of knowledge about Charleston! I would HIGHLY recommend! He was amusing, friendly, and had everyone involved. Kudos!

My friend and I had a blast learning more about the history of Charleston. Lovely anecdotes, great architecture, and I feel like we were able to get a better understanding of that makes Charleston, Charleston. Evans was easy to get in touch with, has lovely stories to share, and was a lively story teller for the tour.

Evans is a very personable guide with three decades of experience and knowledge about Charleston. He continues reading up on historical aspects of the city and its inhabitants so he can contextualize what you are seeing and how the city came to its current state. While the main point of the tour is on the human aspects of the city Evans is very knowledgeable about the flowers & birds of the area also. I highly recommend his tours!

We were lucky to be the only people on a tour that day. We enjoyed every minute of the tour. Lots of historical information from Evans, a real Charlstonean and indeed knowledgeable guide.

Evans was great! All those places only someone that lived there knows. Answered all questions, even about local restaurants, plants. Will definitely call again when friends in town.
