We used Stoutt’s Taxi and Tour Services throughout our trip to Tortola. We booked with Dervin last minute due to some scheduling conflicts and he was more than happy to accommodate us. We first met Dervin for our taxi pickup from the Beef Island airport to take us to our hotel in the west end. His van was comfortable, had good wifi, and he ensured the music was to our taste for the long ride. Due to us arriving late at night, he called ahead to our hotel and set up a dinner reservation for when we arrived. On the second day of our trip, he took us on a half-day tour of the island. He had asked us what we were interested in to help shape the tour. We were picked up at 8am and started our tour. While we were going around the island, he gave us a lot of information about the general history of the island as well as family history and places that meant a lot to him. He helped us find the best choices for provisioning...waited while we shopped...helped us load the van...then helped us to the ferry to Scrub Island.
