My trip was on February 13th with Tony I think ? (Guy with the brummie accent)
Tony was a brilliant tour guide and kindly showed me some walks around the Waitomo area( as I had free time as I chose just do the do the one tou) .I throughly enjoyed the area Tony showed to me including some external caves.
Hobbiton was amazing and is as beautiful as it looks in the photos.
The lady that bought me back to Rotorua was lovely too but I can't remember her name (blonde hair).
Although it's quite an expensive trip I definitely think it's worth it. I'd say definitely bring your own lunch as it's quite dear in the cafes and restaurants.
Overall, I do it all over again if I was ever lucky enough to be able to visit NZ again ??.

I loved both the caves and the Hobbiton tour. Both were unique experiences you can’t get elsewhere and I am so glad I did both! While you are on a small bus for part of the day from Rotorua and back the tours made it worth it. I learned a lot, saw amazing things and would recommend the tours to anyone!

Karen was our driver who was very informative about the local area and Mauri culture on route to the caves
Karen made sure we got there avoiding the crowds well worth an early start
I opted for the 2 caves both very different
Make sure you take a hoodie or warm jacket !!

The tours themselves were great.
But Headfirst Travel is just responsible for getting you there.
For this overall it was excellent.
However, Christine spoke non-stop while driving At 6:30am when you’re exhausted and just want a little quiet time, this was a bit frustrating. She has a huge amount of knowledge but two hours of constant talking without as much as a five minute break is too much.
Otherwise the service was good, helped us with our tickets and were mostly organised aside from being 15 minutes late to get us this morning.

Super excellent service and professional tour guide
We went to Watomo cave and Rukuri caves , very scenic and beautiful places
One thing need to mention is , i have left over my jacket at a cafe . the tour guide Christine and Murray helped me bring it over to the hotel i live , im so impressed by this! (without asking me to pay any extra) , im truly thankful to their help , and Headfirst tour deserve my 5 star review
