Really exceeded my expectations! So cool to see Rotorua from above and really surreal being able to land and walk around on Mt Tarawera. Sam was really knowledgeable and has some fun facts about Rotorua and its surrounding areas.

Our favorite part of the experience is seeing Rotorua from above, the beautiful lakes and craters, it’s like you’re a drone, seeing the view with your own eyes. Our pilot Sam was witty, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He also offered to take photos in different settings. We travelled on a beautiful sunny day-so the the photos we took are nice. Cannot fault this trip. Everybody we dealt with was bubby bright informative and a pleasure to deal with. The pilot was attentive, cautious with following the rules and had a yard full of information to share. He offered to take photos, shared his knowledge, told us exactly what to expect from the helicopter and made us feel at ease. It was the most fabulous weather which added to the experience. So thankful we decided to take the helicopter trip.

Incredible trip well looked after by pilot. Amazing place and the size of the rift is a must see. A lot of work done by local iwi to clean up noxious weeds etc. Mt. Tarawera looks great.
