Wir freuten uns schon sehr auf die blaue Moschee, eigentlich DAS WAHRZEICHEN von Istanbul. Aber wir wurden sehr enttäuscht denn leider bekamen wir nicht viel zu sehen. Zum Einen wird gerade umgebaut, sehr viel ist abgehängt und bei ständigem Gehämmer macht das Besichtigen genau gar keinen Spaß. Zum anderen bekommen Besucher nur einen Bruchteil zu sehen. Für das bisschen Raum hätte ich mir den Weg dorthin echt sparen können. Denn von der Schönheit habe ich nicht viel entdecken können. Schade.

The Blue Mosque is a beautiful structure and certainly worth a visit. Entrance is free and quite honestly paying a guide for a 20 minute tour was a waste of money. If you are thinking of visiting many of the historical sites in the same day a tour guide may make more sense.

This is a must for everyone visiting Istanbul. The building is magnificently built. You are in awe once you see the interior. Visitor's are not allowed during prayers hours. Women have to cover their head. Lots of construction was going on when we visited.

I had an all day tour with the guide Cengiz. He explained everything in detail to us that was great because for me, Istanbul was a discovery ! He was very nice and kind ! Thank you Cengiz ! I recommend him !!!
