ItineraryJoin Paddle Board Rotorua for an incredible guided sunset and night paddle board tour. After meeting your guide and other tour group members you will prepare for an epic night out with all necessary equipment provided. Your guide will then run through safety and detailed paddle board instruction before you take the helm on the water. Explore the shoreline and embrace the weather conditions of the evening as you follow your guide around the lake edge as night sets in. Once its dark, discover your adventurous side as your guide leads you inside incredible hidden caves home to galaxies of glow worms. Take ample time to enjoy the magical moments inside the caves before returning along your course in the dark. If it is a clear night the magic continues as the stars come out and the milky-way fills the sky. Back at the base you will feel like you have been in another world for the past few hours and will likely have made some new friends through the wonder of this experience.

This trip was amazing. The lake at twilight was super flat, no wind, warm and beautiful. We were in good hands with tour guide Nev who showed us the gloworm caves and guided us safely on the lake. Would do this again for sure

We had a magical evening on the water. It was so calm, the glow worms were so bright, the stars were shining and it was just so lovely to be in nature like that. It was also our first time paddle boarding and the guides were great at teaching you how to do it before heading on to the water

Amazing experience, the guide made it so fun and entertaining giving us his knowledge on the glow worms and just an all around nice guy.

This is possibly one of the best experiences I have had in NZ as an NZ'er! The guide was awesome and informative and we went on a day where we could see almost every star! A magical experience I will never forget!

We had never tried paddle boarding before but really enjoyed every aspect of this activity from learning to paddle board, seeing the glow worms and everything else. Nev was an excellent teacher and guide. Definitely recommend checking this out if in Rotorua!
