We were honoured to have Michael, the Golden Child of the village as our tour guide. He is sooo humorous and informative. Gave an good insight of life in a such a geothermal active village. There are 3 geysers which will go off naturally around an hr or so. The show is short and sweet. Performed genuinely with passion. The hangi pie is super delicious and corn is so sweet and juicy. Photos tell it all! Definitely have to try. My kid love it so much! Regrettably, we were rather exhausted from carrying 2 toddlers hence did not explore the nature walk.. Lovely people and beautiful culture..

Relaxed, entertaining and highly informative. A unique village within a geothermal area. The geology and cultural heritage are intertwined. We felt privileged to briefly share their home.

What an amazing experience! Definitely recommended. Getting to experience an authentic Maori Village was so incredible. The Haka was so cool! And the food after the tour was so good!

A wonderful guided tour pleasantly surprised by the treat we got to taste cooked in one of the hot springs. Though we went as a couple it is suitable for families with young children. Highly recommended. Always that more special when your guide is a direct descendant of the whenua and its History. This fulfilled our travel experience of appreciating a slice of Aotearoa in Rotorua x
