Jerry, our tour guide, was wonderful. He stopped at a roadside stand on the way to El Yunque and I had the best mango smoothie and a delicious pepperoni empanada (I know that's not the right name but I can't remember it). Then we river nature walk which was only about ten minutes, so if you are worried about not being able to handle it..you totally can. Jerry told us about different plant life there --he's so knowledgeable-- and the tour ended at the beach area. He helped us face our fears and jump from the tier. He was very encouraging and jumped first to show us how to do it. If that wasn't enough, he dropped us off at beautiful Luquillo Beach where there were lots of souvenir shops and restaurants. I had this delicious lobster rice and fried plantains. When he picked us back up fro..that, he told us more about the area as he dropped us back to pur hotel. My daughter and I had a GREAT time. Jerry is friendly, funny, and professional. Highly recommend this experience!!!!

Very good talk about history of area. Great friendly guide. Nice time. Actual hike in forest was disappointingly brief.

It was shorter than expected. More time in the forest and less at the river or more time at the beach would be better.

This was not the real thing, we just had an 8 minute walk, arrived at a river, took a dip and left. if you want to go to the rain forest main attraction area, this is not it. I basically wasted a precious day of my PR vacation.

overall great tour. transportation there is a must - book through the company!. fruit smoothies were great at the beginning. muddy path through the rainforest. wear crappy sneakers. BRING water shoes in your bag and a towel. go in swimsuit and quick dry shorts/shirt. Luquillo beach was nice too. kids loved this! well worth every penny. Enjoy!
