Traveler Reviews

1st Time in San Juan Puerto Rico and this location was right across the Street from our awesome hotel, the Condado Vanderbilt! Luis and Leo was very great tour guides!! Even at night they were very Safe and made it fun!!

Hard to paddle, couldn't see anything in water, but our tour guide was good. I would recommend for kids

Our tour guides, Emily and AJ, were amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Sadly, there wasn’t enough sunlight in the day, so it was hard to see the dinoflagellates glow. We were given tarps to put over ourselves and make our area pitch black, which allowed us to see them a bit better. No one is allowed to take pictures so that was a bit of a bummer, so apparently all the pictures you see online are photoshopped. I would say the bioluminescence part wasn’t that great, but it did make for a relaxing kayaking ride.

Nice experience. I've never kayaked before so I was quite nervous to try kayaking in the dark. Transportation from San Juan was good, we were the last group to be picked up so we weren't in the van all night. There were probably about 40 people in our group and there were several groups in the bay. The instructions for kayaking were basic but the guides were helpful as we kayaked into the bay. The biggest disappointment was the fact that it was fairly bright that night and even with the tarps, it was difficult to see the glow of bioluminescent water. Despite that, it was an enjoyable experience.

Great experience staff was very friendly kayaking is way harder then I thought but Emily helped me and my partner
