This tour is the best tour I’ve ever been on and worth every cent I’ve paid (and more!). I recommend this to anyone, LOTR fan or not. The scenery was breathtaking and beyond this world; no photo can do justice. The tour was also well-run, with a very professional, thoughtful, and knowledgable guide. Put this on your must-do list in your next trip around New Zealand.

A fantastic tour that takes you into some of the best scenery in New Zealand as well as learning about different aspects of lord of rings . Even if you are not a big fan of the movie , I would certainly recommend this experience for the beauty and wilderness .

This was one of our favourite tours on our trip in New Zealand. Maria was our fantastic tour guide, full of interesting knowledge and kept the small group of us entertained throughout, especially during our long drive from Christchurch. She looked after us well and the lunch was tasty! The tour itself was well organised and spots we were taken to were beautiful. I definitely recommend hassle back tours.

This was a great day out: a small group trip out with an informed, entertaining guide. The scenery was so spectacular that it’s a terrific experience even for those who aren’t Lord of the Rings fans! Not physically difficult, and a delicious lunch. Highly recommended!!

THe destination of this trip was epic. A must do for any Lord of the Rings fan! The trip from Chrsitchurch was a long one, keep in mind it takes the hole day, being on location is app. one and an half hour. Still the journey was never dull with our driver and guide Maria, who told interesting stories on the way. For a well informed LotR fan it was not the LotR stories that were the most interesting, but her stories of the villages and nature. I took her advice and went to the Red Zone on my last day in Chrchr. Edoras is one of the magnificient locations, so go there if you can!
