Overview
ItineraryOpen daily from 9am - last trip departs the Cable Bay Adventure Park base at 4:00pm - Allow 1 hour round trip from the base cafe. Flyers must be at least 1.2 metres tall, child rates apply for children aged 15 and under. The Skywire is set 300 metres above the base cafe and includes a 4km mini-bus journey up through the park to the launch platform of the Skywire. The ride takes up to 4 people at a time, seated side by side, strapped into individual racing car style seats with 5 point harnesses and takes approximately 10 minutes.The Skywire is weather dependent - won't operate in heavy rain or high winds. Bookings not always essential but highly recommended in the busy summer season.

Our friendly staff can arrange for a free pick up and drop off from the Nelson i-site or other central Nelson points for groups of 2 or more.,This MUST be booked at time of reservation as this service runs on demand and is not a scheduled service.

Just did this experience on the 7th November 2021. We did it in the morning and it was absolutely fantastic! It's great for all ages and definitely a different experience looking down on top of all the native trees!
Not only the experience of the skywire but the staff were beyond fantastic, so energetic and very fun to talk to and be instructed by.

Excellent place! Went gut a fun day trip with my boys 12 and 8. Amazing adventures on the skywire. It looks scarier than it is. Such a fun experience.,but the most fun was the Argo! OMG that was crazy fun. The boys will never forget getting driven into muddy ponds up steep hills twists and turns it was insane. Highly recommend!

This park is an amazing gem in a beautiful environment. My 8yr old and I thoroughly enjoyed the Skywire. It was a sufficient adrenaline rush for her and I loved the views and the ease of the whole experience. Having said that I would love to bring my older nephew in because the mountain bike tracks are extreme and he would love it.
The elders enjoyed chilling out at the cafe and really enjoyed the fresh-roasted peanuts served with their beer, so really it has something for everyone.
