Traveler Reviews

James is very knowledgeable about Nelson’s history and cultural aspects that make it such a great town/city to visit, and he takes one to little unknown surprises of Nelson. Thanks James, good job ??

This was an enjoyable and interesting introduction to the main sights of central Nelson. James was informative, knowledgeable and friendly, clearly interested in the city and happy to answer questions. The pace of our walking tour was sensible, without being tiring, enabling us to cover plenty of ground.

Our group of 4 had a very pleasant and interesting couple of hours, when we were shown around Nelson by James. These tours are always value for money, as this one was. We only had the one day to see what we could, and were shown many different aspects of the city-specialty shops, the cathedral, art gallery, and river. Many thanks James for all the effort you put in. Kerry Davey Ballarat

Hi great informative tour Just James me and Sharon Lovely place Nelson loads of interesting facts and Arkitectural buildings and a cosmopolitan city ! Glass making flame daisy glass design was fantastic Would have bought so much more but for baggage allowance home Great company James and Diane Great way to fill an afternoon or morning ??

For a small cost, we got so much out of our visit to Nelson. We were visiting from our cruise ship and when we returned and shared our day with others, it became obvious that we had seen and learned much more about this laidback town than others. For example, the story behind the goldsmith and the glass blower would have been totally missed. James’ obvious knowledge and enthusiasm really made the difference between a tour and an experience
