Traveler Reviews

Our ride with Clarence was a delightful way to get past the touristy, glitzy part of the city and ride around the neighborhoods, discovering art along the way. Riding on the fat tire bikes was easy, fun and it made us feel a little like kids again, out cruising the barrios. He kept us safe, customized the tour to include some new graffiti art, and taught us about the graffiti artists and culture in Puerto Vallarta. Can't wait to ride with Clarence again! We've more than 50 photos from this tour and they are some of our favorites from our whole trip.

The bike tour of wall art was a highlight of our stay in PV. Carmen was an excellent guide - informative and interesting as well as keeping our comfort and safety in mind. The fat tire bikes are tons of fun and easy to handle on cobblestone streets. We loved riding through neighbourhoods outside the usual tourist areas. We hope to return in 2021 and ride again with the Poons.

We had a great back country roads ride followed by the graffiti tour. The ride was a good balance of challenge and chill for our group with varied skill levels. A perfect outing! Carmen was a fun and knowledgeable guide! Thanks for being so accommodating!

Our group of three did the fat bike tour with Carmen and had a great time. The ride goes at a relaxed pace and stays mostly on low traffic neighborhood streets. Carmen spent time making sure that our bikes fit properly and explained the signals that she would be using. I still say “Tope!” (speed bump) just for fun at home. The murals were amazing and made for a great morning trip. You’ll be done by lunch and your tour includes stopping for tacos or something else to eat at the end (she will give you a few options). I would say that this ride is good for just about all fitness levels. It’s mostly flat with a couple small hills. The bikes have super low gearing, so you can climb a wall if you need too (but don’t). Two of us were experienced cyclists and the third had not cycled in years and has a bad knee. We all had a wonderful ride. You’ll learn a bit about the artists who created the murals and there are several that will challenge your brain a bit to see the way they change dependin

We had great slightly hazy morning for our tour and were luck to have Carmen all to ourselves. She was very accommodating to our needs which we really appreciated. It was such fun to tour neighborhoods and see art that most tourists never get to see. The cobblestones were challenging but the fat tires really helped. Unique tour, highly recommend!
