Seeing the hidden beach was on my list of things to do in Puerto Vallarta for several years, and this year I finally managed to fit it in. Sadly, you are now only allowed 1/2 hour to visit this protected area - including the time to swim back and forth from your boat to the beach. Was it still a good experience? Yes, I thought so. It’s one of those places only a few people get to see in the world, so make sure to bring a waterproof camera along, or place it in a dry bag. The snorkeling was also nice, and the crew was great.

Highlights: Hidden Beach entrance, snorkeling, whale watching, sandwich and water included, informative tour guides (Eric and Alejandro) and VERY helpful — my mother is not a strong swimmer but Eric assisted her the entire way to the hidden beach and through the snorkeling experience. Tips: check in is at the address stated but it is a shop (not a pier point) to pick up flippers and pay the fees. Notes: - boat ride is about an hour to the island (with stops along the way to catch the whales). It is a small boat with around 12 people max. Our boat driver was very experienced and knew how to navigate the waves and finding the whales very well. - only 115 people get to enter the hidden beach and we were lucky enough to! If we weren’t able to, I cannot say that it is 100% worth the price, but it was still an overall wonderful day trip. The snorkeling would probably be extended to fill the entire time if entrance was not permitted. Trip total 5 hours Overall would recommend for th

We did this trip with Vallarta Adventures with a group of our friends. It was a fun way to spend part of a day. It was very quick as they don't allow you much time in the hidden beach. There were fruit and granola bars and water served on the ride back. They don't allow you to take your own camera in the water and then sell you the pictures they took. It was really neat to swim in and out of the hidden beach. Not ideal for anyone who doesn't swim well. Life jackets were provided but the water was rough and you do have to swim a little ways.

Amazing tour! Me and my friends took this tour on 12/10/21. Sadly we were 15 mins late, thankfully our tour guides waited for us. I am thankful they did because not only was the Hidden beach amazing; we also got to whale watch. We saw about 8 whales, it was a great experience. I would highly recommend things tour. I wish I could remember the name of our captain and guides because they were the greatest.

Ever and Raphael were amazing. Ever made sure everyone was safe and had fun. It is quite a vigorous swim to get to and go through the cave to the island but so very worth it! A gentleman in our group was deaf with out his hearing aide on, Ever stayed right with him and took care of him when he had a panic attack getting into the beach. He was amazing! Definitely once in a lifetime experience. Make your reservation early as they only take a small group out and the amount of people able to visit the beach in a day is limited. The snorkeling was also amazing!
