Traveler Reviews

Favorite experience so far in Puerto Vallarta! Loved everything we sampled, and seemed like the other people did too. The whole night was well organized, each stop thought through, and it was the perfect amount of food (enough that you feel full and satisfied, not so much that you stop appreciating it). We had a small group too (4 people), so it didn't feel like we were disrupting the locals eating at the same places. Our tour guide Silvia was AMAZING and clearly loves what she is presenting. She was very friendly and gave us great background info on the restaurants and descriptions of the food and how to eat it. She even was kind enough to ask for cilantro-less tacos for me even though I know that's sacrilege. We'll be coming back to do another food tour with this company before we leave!

Our guide, Sylvia, really knows what she's doing. She likes the food and she likes knows the owners of the places we stopped at. She's talked to the owners so she knows about the origins of the place, where they get some of the key ingredients, what's in the sauces, etc and can explain all that to you with enthusiasm. It was a great time and we're planning another tour with this company later in our stay.

Victor was an excelleng gude, knowledgeable and engaging. There was someting going on in one of the areas, so we skipped a few pleces that were on the itenary that we were given, bummed we missed out on the Chocolate place. All the food was good. The volcano was a highlight!

Our tour guide, Sylvia, was excellent. She's very knowledgeable about the food and its ingredients. She loves what she's doing and knows the people and the food they're serving. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it. Oh, and her English is excellent.

A HUGE Shoutout to our friends at Vallarta Food Tours & all of the host restaurants in Bucerias! ?? Our tour was AMAZING & our tour guide Bernardo was even better!! He gave us so much information about the food, location, & history! ?? ?? We stopped at 6 local spots (tagged below) with food & drink selections picked for us. Our favorites were definitely the al pastor quesadilla & the nutella filled churro ?? This is definitely the perfect excursion for the foodies!
