Traveler Reviews

Highly recommended. We were most fortunate to have Enissa as our guide on what turned out to be a private tour just for myself and my wife. We enjoyed every minute of the two hours which were full of fascinating historical details and insights into the city. Friendly, patient and genuinely knowledgeable, we particularly appreciated the fact that proceeds from the walk go towards a variety of worthy educational causes rather than a for-profit operation. A great start to our holiday in Madeira!

Very informative visited and learned about area that we would have missed if they were not pointed out to us.

Julien was a very good guide. He showed us the main places in the heart of Funchal. Having a great knowledge and being really passionated by the history of Madeira and Funchal he gave us a lot of information. He talked about the history and he also showed us places to relax, to drink and to eat. I recommend this tour!

Very interesting and informative tour by a knowledgeable and engaging guide who had clearly studied his subject in some depth
