Un très bon garçon nommé Julien nous a bien fait aimer la ville et de plus 3 langues et est super sympa il mérite sa note de 5 étoiles

Die Tour war sehr interessant und vielseitig und hat spannende Einblicke über die Entwicklung und die (Wein- und Zucker-)Kultur auf Madeira geboten. Die Stadtführerin hat klug, kenntnisreich und engagiert die Stationen gezeigt und konnte neben den Infos vor Ort auch spannende Geschichten und Anekdote erzählen. Würde ich sofort wieder buchen.

Diese Tour ist besonders zu empfehlen. Sie bietet einem eine Vielfalt an Informationen rund um die Entstehung Madeiras sowie der Wein und Zuckerproduktion. Sie hat uns wirklich gut gefallen, super Tourguide und nur ans Herz zu legen!

we had a lovely guide from the university , who showed us aroundd parts of the old madeira town , she was friendly and knowledgeable even though she was not native to the island , she still had a lot of love and passion for the island and this showed in her talks about the various historical places we visited , we had a tasting when we returned to the shop of traditional maderian wine , this was made in the area we had visited , which was a nice end to a lovely 2 hour walk .

We went on this tour as we were interested in the sugar side of things as we could have gone to any of the wine houses otherwise. Guide was very knowledgeable but was unaware that the sugar museum was closed for whole of june, sad that tour were not more closely linked with museum and were not informed of this as learned m thing about sugar industry at all.
