Great tour/ photography workshop with awesome photo ops. Ashley is very professional and knowledgeable, and she offered many tips and tricks to capture amazing vacation photos. Her tour offers a view into Puerto Vallarta that may not be seen by the casual tourist. I only have the camera on my phone, so she adapted the class for camera phone shots. She even provided a detailed list of useful apps for phone photography and also emailed printouts for all the lessons we covered for review on your own! I highly recommend this tour to anyone, including highly skilled photographers.

I spent a couple of hours with Ashley on her photo workshop in Puerto Vallarta. I'm a reasonably competent photographer, but I learned a number to tips and tricks to help improve my photos. Ashley is very knowledgeable about the technical aspects and settings for cameras in various situations, which helped me a lot.

My experience with the Nomad Family Travel Photography Workshop was first class from the start. To begin with signing up was so easy at their well crafted website. So larger corporations could take a couple of lessons.. :). Ashely and Matt met me on time at the appointed place. From there Ashely guided me thru some very valuable lessons on shooting travel photography, especially in bright daylight... She walked me thru taking pictures using Aperture priority and helped me consider that Automatic is NOT the only setting.. LOL... That was not the only lesson. We also worked on moving objects, seascapes, spot metering and much more. As promised Ashely sent me follow up material to review. I would recommend this tour without hesitation and would do it again.
