Traveler Reviews

I took the 7 day trip in July 2019. Without any doubt it was the best experience I had. It was travelling alone, was my first backpack trip and I am glad I chose Jump tours for Tassie trip. The travel group was diverse and all were great. Special shout out to Loz (Lorraine Upton)??, who was our tour guide. She was very energetic and wonderful person and not to forget with lots of humour ?? . The itinerary is very well designed to cover all major spots in the island. The tour guide had complete knowledge about the locations and we also stopped at some extra spots to taste chocolates and cheese. July month can be quite cold and it was raining on most of our trip. So it's surely not a good time for sunshine lovers. But nevertheless I got my profile picture at Marion's lookout Cradle mountain. ??. Cutting it short, I had the best time exploring the beautiful island.

Just finished my 7 day tour with Jump and I couldn't be happier. The value for money is absolutely incredible! Every day was jam packed full of activities and Greg our tour guide was super knowledgeable and helpful. We visited some breathtaking spots, listened to some pretty cool tunes on the bus and had many laughs! I can't believe how much we were able to achieve in such a short amount of time. This tour has so many inclusions and Greg knew all the best places to show us around, including the best bakery and coffee shops! We were able to do the hikes at our own pace and also had free time which is really important for tour companies to consider! :) This tour company goes above and beyond and I'm super grateful for the amazing service. Highly recommend! ??

Because of a miscommunication I missed the Bruny Island day tour but the company did her best to fix it as I could join the rest of the trip. This tour is great if you don’t want to waste your time on your own visiting Tasmania; here you can see the best things of this wild country. Chris our driver was very kind, open minded, it was really nice to meet him and share his experiences around the world. Do not expect 3* hotel but just to spend one night each time it’s more than enough for me.

Booked the 7 days tour at jump tours. You will go to several beautiful places and the tourguides are nice. However there are in my opinion a lot of bad things to say about the tour. -The stay at tullah was so gross. Read: spider webs bigger than 1 meter, dirty laundry, plants growinginside the building, dust everywhere, bbq that doesnt work, dead bugs in sleeping area (>10) and even a tourguie that tells us to be ashamed to bring us here. So i booked an hotel room, so I made a lot of extra costs, because this house was really dirty. The boss didnt want to compensate for the room, which is in my opinion not fair. Another guy told us the house is cleaned by cleaners.. well see the pics. -If you want to go to the wildlife park to see the koalas, dont go there, jump tours gives you wrong information, they re not in the park. - The communication is not optimal, they wont f.e. let you know what is the start time of the next day. -The chocolate tasting, which is included in the price, is n

The guide, Loz, was fantastic. She adapted the itinerary to suit our group - nothing was missed on the itinerary, but she created a fun and enthusiastic atmosphere with some bonus activities along the way. Loz developed immediate rapport with each member of the group and was willing to make every day the best one we could have in Tasmania. Liam, another guide, for 2 of the 7 days was also excellent. He also knew how to interact positively with each individual and shared lots of laughs and stories with us. I would highly recommend this 7-day tour to anyone wanting to see Tasmania (I plan on coming back) and have a great time.
