Traveler Reviews

The tour started at Foursquare with Dario explaining the history and rum production process which showing the group around the distillery. At the end we visited the heritage shop where we tasted 7 rums (old brigand, spiced rum, R.L. Seale’s, Doorly’s XO, aged 22 & 14 years and Crisma cream liqueur). Then came Mount Gay which was much busier with our group joining one of the frequent tours. Scott phoned ahead while on route with the traffic bad to notify Mount Gay so we could join the tour immediately when we arrived. We were given a rum punch at the start in the visitor centre and then headed to a tasting room to sample 5 rums (silver, eclipse, black barrel, XO and finishing with Ponche Kuba in the bar. Here there was also the option to purchase a measure of 1703. If your looking to visit Foursquare and Mount Gay this is the tour for you.

If your looking to visit Foursquare and Mount Gay this is the tour for you. The tour of Foursquare given by Dario was the most informative and finished with 7 rum tastings (old brigand, spiced rum, R.L. Seale’s, Doorly’s XO, aged 22 & 14 years and Crisma cream liqueur). Mount Gay was much busier, starting in the visitor centre with a rum punch before proceeding to a tasting room to sample 5 rums (silver, eclipse, black barrel, XO and finishing with Ponche Kuba in the bar).

Scott was a great guide, great sense of humour and very knowledgeable. He went the extra mile. Four square was an intimate tour and tasting experience and mount gay was fun way to spend the afternoon.

Excellent informative tour guide for our rum tour. Highly recommended. Know a lot more about rum now. And Barbados.

Discover rums tour, which we did with our tour guide Scott is an experience we highly recommend. We had what felt like an exclusive look into not only the the best rum distilleries of the island but also an eclectic history of the Barbadian people and what makes Barbados the number one destination of the Caribbean. Such a wonderful experience for all, both rum lovers and for those who are yet to discover the island. Scott, our guide was amazing, chilled, knowledgeable, pleasant and accentuated our stay in Barbados. ?? for Scott!
