My husband and I are on a 7 day southern Caribbean cruise out of San Juan on Royal Caribbeans Explorer of the Seas. We arrived in Barbados yesterday morning and realized we forgot to book an island excursion. Barbados is currently restricted to passengers outside the enclosed port unless your on a ship excursion or booked through a government approved tour/taxi company. After quickly researching TripAdvisor, I found Scott with Williams Tours and he delivered a private island tour for us. Scott was promptly waiting for us in the port terminal. His air conditioned van was comfortable and clean. Knowing we were more interested in seeing the beautiful beaches with dramatic landscapes and Dive Shops. My husband, who is an avid diver, collects t-shirts from local dive shops. Scott delivered a well informed tour and a brought us to the most beautiful beaches. I was able to take pictures of all I wanted to see. To top it off, Scott’s company was the best part of the tour. We had so much fun wi
2nd time with Scott and really enjoyed seeing him again. Did the island tour with our group of 8 which was a great intro to this wonderful island. Scott and the team are knowledgeable, flexible, well organised and great ambassadors for Barbados. No hesitation in recommending Scott to help you see more of Barbados than you though possible.
Scott was extremely knowledgeable about Barbados geography and history. He was not only informative but entertaining. We learned and laughed a lot.
Scott is a great host for this private island tour, collected from our accomodation and we drove south- east - north then back - it is a great way to see the whole island by a local with lots of knowledgeable info Lunch at a traditional cafe on the East side and then a Rum punch break at a beautiful location overlooking the east coast
Excellent tour guide. We asked for off the tourist trail tour and he delivered. We got to see lots of the island the tourist never get to see and took us to eat lunch at a local place that was very good. I think the owner was surprised when we showed because they don't get tourists.
