I was lucky enough to attend a private, 2 night, charter on The Rock and can't recommend the experience highly enough. They were so accommodating and well organised and managed to keep smiling despite the constant party. Amazing trip, I'm trying to figure out when I can do it again. We (1adult and 2 children family) enjoyed an overnight adventure cruise with the rock and it became the highlight of our trip to paihia, the crew were friendly, informative, chill and so accommodating to my kids. We participated in all the activities but there was no pressure if you didn't, we dived off the back of the boat with the sun setting in the background, we night kayaked, we dived for kina, snorkled, saw dolphins and fished and fished. We shared a room with 3 other lovely travelers which was all good because we hardly stayed in our room anyway and the kai (food) was simple but delicious, my 10yr old son was quite sad to leave but is now begging me for a fishing rod. If you want to experience a real kiwi seaworthy adventure that is jam packed but yet very relaxing and is fantastic for ALL ages than book here 10/10 truly a great experience.

What a fantastic time! Our family had a wonderful experience. Three kids under 10 had THE BEST TIME and the adults had an ever better time (there’s bar!). Dan and Erin were fabulous at showing the kids the maritime and marine world and kept them well entertained. Who would have thought that playing pool or snooker on the ocean was possible! Comfortable, clean and well kitted out with games area, pool table(!), piano(!), well-stocked bar, fire place, adventure deck (off the back of the boat). Marshmallows on the fire at night was icing on the cake. We had great weather so snorkelling even at this time of year was good fun - all equipment supplied. Night kayaking was exciting for all of us and I managed to snap a pic of the full moon and Mars side by side in the still of the night. Such a calm and peaceful evening! Kids also caught lots of fish! Can’t recommend this experience enough!

This was such a fun trip, lots of organised activities which kept the kids occupied. The staff, Johnny, Erin and Dan were fantastic, making the entire trip seamless. Thanks for a fun two days!

A great way to see part of the bay of islands and meet people. Great food and activities all included. Jonny and the team got us fishing, night kayaking, snorkelling, gathering Kina, table tennis, chess, hiking and swimming in winter. My teens loved doing fun activities and relaxing on board. A beautiful part of the world and a cool way to see it.
