We had the most awesome flight and trip up to Cape Reinga. Communication was excellent as our trip was delayed a day. We were fortunate enough to just have ourselves and Sam our Pilot. Great commentary with excellent information and stories about the area. Our son particularly loved being able to sit in the front with Sam. Thank you again Sam for making it such a great trip. Words can't describe the beautiful views you get on this scenic flight, we're so pleased we did it. Our pilot Sam was brilliant and gave a great commentary pointing out things and places of interest and was happy to answer any questions we had. At this time of year it's just a scenic flight right to the top of the cape and back which we loved as you get to see the lighthouse from the air which gives a totally different perspective from seeing it from the ground. If you're heading North would definately recommend this trip, even our two kids can't stop raving about it.

What a fantastic & efficient way to see Cape Reinga. The scenery was spectacular, the flight smooth, & awesome commentary by Sam along the way. The whole family enjoyed the experience - it was a quite something to see all the teenagers staring out the window instead of down at their phones! Highly recommend it.

Outstanding half day. Picked up / dropped off in Paihia which is about 25 minutes from Kerikeri Airport. The plane was a small 7 seater one with everybody having window seats. The plane took off , flew over Kerikeri then up over Coopers Beach and swang over to the West Coast and hugged (or zigzagged 90 mile Beach) wonderful scenery. Landed on a grass strip and then drove 20 minutes to Cape Reinga. Breathtaking scenery with the Tasman and Pacific joining. Plenty of time here and then drove to a bay for a stretch and a cuppa. Beautiful bay. Back to plane for an hour highlights of the North the beaches , bays and sand where sensational. We finished the flight looping over Russell / Waitangi and back to base.
