Traveler Reviews

Looking for off the beaten? This is it! Andre was an excellent guide in everything Puerto Rico! Start off with a mom and pop and donkey coffee shop out in the countryside - aromatic coffee to wake you up. The rainforest hike was a challenge for me. But Andre was patient and accommodating. Safety was a priority! It’s the rainforest so there will be bugs and mud but also beautiful gigantic trees, captivating views and waterfalls galore. The mango and pineapples Andre served at the waterfalls was the cherry on top! End the tour with delicious authentic Puerto Rican food. If you have weak knees or ankles, be prepared, wear appropriate shoes or brace. This is not a walk in the park. Andre was nice enough to lend me a hiking pole. Oh and did I mention rainbows! So many rainbows from the beginning to the end of the trip! Highly recommend this tour!

This was an incredible experience!! Andre was perfectly qualified to guide us on our adventure!! We trekked uphill at times using ropes for support ( both up and down) and even had a short rock scramble( with the option to just walk in the shallow stream to the falls)! The falls views and beautiful sounds were incredible and once under them, I felt that my trek was well worth it!! Based on our interesting talks, I came to see that Andre is a historian, a botanist, an avid hiker, and truly became a local friend during our day together!! Our pit stops to a local coffee spot before the trek was fabulous, inclusive of a little farm and bakery! Our post trek meal was amazing as well. We sat amongst the locals and enjoyed the views as well as some traditional food and drink, discussing how much we all enjoyed the day!! Of note : I took off and left a valuable and sentimental watch on the base rock of one of the falls. Andre returned there two days later to retrieve and return it to me!!!! I

I’ve been to Puerto Rico many times in the past and revisiting, I took this tour because it was something new. It was my best day here ever. Far from the tourists and El Yunque, we hiked to 3 waterfalls with no crowds ( I’ve done El Yunque and it’s packed). This was quiet and pristine and at 3 miles, a good workout. Andre was incredible and worked with the diversity levels of our different group members. And where can you go and get breakfast and dinner for a total of $12. Ceales is a hidden gem not to be missed. My only complaint is that it was hard to find on some web sites. It should be listed first because it’s the best!

This tour is amazing! Andres is so kind and full of life. We really enjoyed our time “chasing waterfalls” eating fresh fruits and challenging ourselves through the beautiful trails. This definitely was a highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico. 10/10 would recommended to anyone that loves nature and a good hike. Also, the lunch stop at the end had the most gorgeous view and the food was amazing!!

Andre is truly fantastic! He is passionate about the land and has created the most incredible experience. He was very clear in his directions for pick up and expectations for the day. He made each guest on the tour feel supported and included In the group. His tour was the absolute highlight of our trip!
