Traveler Reviews

Today was an amazing day. Kind of last minute we decided to upgrade from a 2 hour snorkeling trip to a dull day Paradise Island trip with a ride through mangroves. Eric Tours International provided an amazing day. Richard was an amazing host/guide. He was very knowledgeable about many topics in conversation. He was amazingly patient and a great teacher as we snorkeled. We had plenty of beverages and lunch and breakfast croissants were delicious. Our day was leisurely, yet right on schedule. The snorkeling at Paradise Island was amazing. So many fish and so many beautiful colors under water. We also did the Monkey Jungle with the zipline through Eric Tours International. I highly recommend this tour group if you end up in Sosua, Dominican Republic.

Great excursion! Papo was an excellent guide and Luis was a great driver. The bus ride is long (2 hours) but Papo shared some information about the area along the way. The tiny island gets crowded but the snorkeling was great! The mangroves were really amazing to see! Our boat driver was great too. Lunch was very yummy and the kids swam while we waited for lunch. Great hospitality and a fun day for all.

11 hour day, of which 3 hours were the actual experience on the island. We were a middle stop along the route but we ended up spending over 3 hours getting there and back. Another 2 hours at random gift shops along the way. Would not do again. The island was beautiful but the journey was too tiring. Also they cram the bus full, very hot and no Covid precautions enforced at all.

Unfortunately it’s nothing like the description.. make sure to bring along your own drinks , booze and snacks . You only last 2hrs or so on the island. Then they bring you back through the mangroves with no time to site see. The snorkeling is right on the little island. If you have your own snorkel equipment better.
