We just returned from a really great day with Nicole, Gary and Maossie tours. As guides, they knew lots about the region, the country and the Lord of the Rings filming sites that were our destination. As owner-hosts they were cheerful, friendly, calm, and ready for anything.
They kept us well fed with lots of well planned stops for food, photos and facilities. The bus was clean, comfortable with free wifi and USB power at every seat.
Lunch at Mt Potts Lodge was surprisingly tasty & intricate. Meeting Clydesdales, goats and sheep was delightful.
If we were in Christchurch longer, we’d do another day trip with them and will strongly recommend them to others.
This was exactly what we wanted from a day trip out of Christchurch - an intro to life in the agricultural region, big mountain vistas and some LOTR sites as seasoning.

This was such a great day! Gary and Nicole were welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful. It was evident that they wanted us all to have a great experience with them. Even the picnic lunch was delicious! Once at the farm, Erin's experience handling those beautiful horses was clear - she was great!
You undoubtedly want to book a tour with Maossie Tours! You won't regret it!
