My mom and I took this tour with Nicole and Dr. Gary in November 2018, and are just now getting to writing this review (the side-effects of life getting in the way). But we absolutely needed to write this. This tour was like a breath of fresh air for us.
We were welcomed with warmth as soon as we got into the comfortable vehicle and felt instantly at home with both the tour organizers. We were provided with a little kit of hand sanitizers and paper "boots" for us to wear on the farms, to avoid getting our possibly expensive shoes dirty while walking around.
We were taken to two farms - one a sheep farm, where we learned how to milk them, and the other a cattle/pig/poultry farm. The hosts of both these places were amazing and the experience was truly unforgettable.
We were provided with lunch at a local cafe and we didn't go hungry for even a moment. Nicole and Dr. Gary do make stops at beautiful locations along the way where we get to stretch our legs and take great photographs.

My search for an up close and personal farm tour led me to Maossie Tours and Gary & Nicole. This was probably the most enjoyable day of my month-long trip and felt more like hanging out with friends than a guided tour. Gary & Nicole patiently answered my endless questions as we visited the small farms of friends and drove through the rural countryside. Of course, the day also included morning and afternoon tea and a delicious lunch. I saw a lot of sights and did many activities during the rest of my trip, but spending time with locals and exploring the agricultural foundation of the country really made my day. Thanks for an awesome time!
