ItineraryPicturesque Barcelona locations, its beautiful architecture are worldwide known. I'm in love with Barcelona. The desire to share my love for this city with everyone who wants to take a look at it with my eyes brought me the idea of drawing workshops for tourists. My experience as an artist and teacher allows me to run such workshops with almost anyone.During workshops, we are sketching the architectural landmarks including such a complex building as Sagrada Familia. Most of my students have zero o close to zero drawing skills, but all of them create lovely looking sketches starting from the first lesson. The secret is in step-by-step instructions, live demonstration and some tricks and hints explained in the process. I will help you to understand and concentrate on what is really necessary to make a good landscape sketch. For sketching workshops, you have to find a spot that gives you a proper viewpoint. I’m taking into account how conveniently are situated these buildings in terms of depicting. This was a great way to spend a morning, I was amazed that for my first architectural sketch that this turned out as well as it did! Turned out to be a wonderful souvenir and I may even frame it! Evgeniy was a wonderful instructor and even took the time to give some info about the history of the Gothic Quarter after the class was done, pointing out some landmarks as we walked back to the metro station. Highly recommend this as a great activity.

In the workshop that I attended, we sketched the Arc de Triomf. Although I hadn’t taken any course on drawing in the past, through the guidance of Evgeniy I managed to draw the Arc and really liked the end result. I appreciated that Evgeniy had all the equipment prepared for the workshop: papers, pencils, rubbers, etc. The meetup succeeded in teaching me some basics, making me enjoy the experience, and stimulating my interest in drawing. In short, it was a worthwhile experience.
