We really enjoyed the trip to Montserrat it was an amazing place build high up in the mountains. with great views and loads of history to been seen

My grandmother and I? really loved this day trip from Barcelona. Since we didn’t go in high season we were lucky our group was very small! Four of us in total plus our excellent tour guide Dani. The mountains are beautiful, as well as the lunch and winery. We were lucky with our group size, company and weather. From the mountains we could even see the ocean! (Although Dani said this isn’t typical). What stood out to me the most about this tour was how accommodating it was for my grandmother. Dani was very sweet and walked with her at her own pace to the bus arm in arm chatting away. I? recommend having the full lunch if possible, I?t was delicious, and the location beautiful. We laughed and chatted with our new friends, sipped local wine, and admired the gorgeous serrated mountains in the distance. All in all a very beautiful day!

This particular local provider does tours in both English and Spanish, which took twice as long for all of us on the tour. It also ate away a lot of free time, especially in Monserrat. We were unable to see the Madonna statue because they were conducting mass. We then waited 40 minutes to travel up the Funicula and had a few moments to take pictures before coming back down. The tour included 2 tickets, one to see a short film, the other to taste cordials. We had no time to do this. After returning from the Funicula, we were suppose to meet our group at 1:20. We quickly ran to the bathrooms, 1:24. Our group and guide were no where to be found. I ran to the bus, while my friend waited. The bus was ready to leave. I had to run back for my friend. we had to be 15-20 minutes early for our tour. They do not wait 1 minute past scheduled time to leave.:-
