ItineraryFreedive Silfra in wetsuits between continents in the best visibility with the best freedive gear available! Silfra is one of the TOP freedive places in the world. Visibility is 100+ on most days.You meet our guides in the National park of Thingvellir when tour starts (Can park your car at P5 parking spot 5 min walk from meeting point) Start by getting a briefing from our guides on safety and all you will see and do, then you put on the equipment and walk 2 minutes to Silfra. Your guide is with you all the time while in the water for safety and comfort. Afterwards the guide will take you back to the changing room and help you take off the equipment and help with all needed. Then you get hot cocoa to get warm and cozy again.Freedive Iceland is the only Icelandic company offering freediving tours accompanied by certified freedive professionals, and we can assure you that freediving with us will be a memorable experience. No freediving experience or license is needed. Instead, we freedive with consideration to our customers’ ability.We will provide you with all necessary gear required for freediving.

We had an amazing tour with Freedive. It was an incredible experience, being in a wetsuit rather than a drysuit meant we had greater freedom n the water to be able to dive and swim rather than float like those in a dry suit. I would recommend anyone to do the tour, it was a highlight of our trip to Iceland

Water was cold, I was not. Make sure you choose the wet suit so you can dive deeper. I saw others in a dry suits, they looked like jelly fish floating. Super fun, one of the must do things in beautiful Iceland.

It was a beautiful surrounding above and under the water.
Birgir was great, funny and friendly. It was great to be in a place so calm, quiet and clear. I would recommend i. Amazing experience.

What a great day to be alive! Such a beautiful underwater experience! The water is as clear as clear can be! If u think the price is expensive, look at it as freediving plus pictures and then its worth every penny! The Go-Pros (7&8) from the girl on the tour as well as mine were dead within a few minutes due to the low temperature of the water, so it was great to have had backup from Birgir! The wetsuit were so good that you really didn’t feel how cold it was. Your face goes practically numb from swimming but its so beautiful that you have to continually look down! Get out of your comfort zone and experience Silfra! How many people can say they’ve experience this underwater beauty? I know, I can! :)
