Overview
ItineraryThis is a typical itinerary for this productStop At: Thingvellir National Park, Thingvellir IcelandLocated on the northern shores of Þingvallavatn (Iceland's largest lake), Þingvellir (anglicized as 'thingvellir') is the national pride of Iceland and our first National Park. It is, for one, a key location in Icelandic history as the oldest existing parliament in the world first assembled there in 930 AD. For this reason, Þingvellir has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is, therefore, a protected national park due to its unique geology and natural features. From the viewing area, the Almannagjá canyon between two tectonic plates can be seen, a visual representation of continental drift. As the first stop along the tour, you will have an opportunity to walk through the park and use the restroom if needed.Duration: 1 hourStop At: Geysir, Haukadalur IcelandA favorite stop along the Golden Circle is the highly active Geysir Hot Spring Area with boiling mud pits and the lively Strokkur which spouts water 30 meters (100 ft) into the air every few minutes. The area became active more than 1000 years ago and comprises more than a dozen hot hot spring holes. Although one can only see steam emerging from the surface of Geysir these days, its name was adopted to represent spouting hot springs all over the world.Along the tour, the newly opened Geysir Center offers guests and travelers a chance to use the restroom and to catch some refreshments as well as lunch.Duration: 1 hourStop At: Gullfoss Waterfall, Blaskogabyggd IcelandAs one of the most popular attractions in all of Iceland, Gullfoss is a waterfall located in the canyon of Hvítá river in the southwest of the country. The beautiful Hvítá river rushes southward in three steps into a narrow canyon with a breathtaking roar and grandeur. Furthermore, on clear days the magnificent Langjökull glacier, Iceland's second largest glacier, can be seen in the distance.Guests and Travelers may use the restroom and purchase food and refreshments at this location as well.Duration: 1 hourStop At: Bus Hostel Reykjavik, Skógarhlíð 10, Reykjavík, IcelandAfter returning to Reykjavik from the Golden Circle, there will be a 30.min break before heading to the Blue Lagoon.Duration: 30 minutesStop At: Blue Lagoon, Nordurljosavegur 9, Grindavik 240 IcelandAfter a day of touring around the Iceland's iconic sites, the warm soothing waters of the Blue Lagoon will be awaiting your arrival. Traveler Reviews

I have to say that my day touring the Golden Circle was absolutely awesome! My friend and I were lucky enough to be in a very small group (there were only 4 of us in the van) and we felt like we got some pretty fabulous attention. BeeGee (not sure if that is how he spells his nickname) was simply superb! He got us to the locations before other tour groups ascended and gave us colorful and anecdotal information about each stop. We were informed about having headphones when we got our paperwork about the tour. Totally prepared! I highly recommend booking with this company!

I feel if you get a hire car which we did regardless you could have done this on your own time and terms. The tour was quite independent the only thing you would miss is the audio on the coach which to be honest I dont remember a thing about. The set up and access to the blue lagoon was an absolute highlight but felt nervous at the restriction on time as if we didn't leave bang on time we would be stuck there with no coach to take us home. Still worth every penny and would recommend

We got to relax in the evening time at the Blue Lagoon. It was less crowded than the day time which was awesome and we even got a small glimpse of the Northern Lights!

While the sights we saw on this trip were amazing, the company we organised the tour with were not. We did not realise that the golden circle and blue lagoon were seperate tours. Before, after and in between the tours our transport arrangements were very unclear as to which bus to get on and who was picking us up. On our way back from the blue lagoon at 7pm, we had the rudest bus driver I have ever encountered. After being dropped off at a depo where there was supposed to be smaller buses to take us to our bus stop, the drivers of the smaller buses almost refused to take myself and several other passengers who had booked to go to Bus stop 3. Once again the locations visited were amazing but would not book with Reykjavík sightseeing again.

We did the Golden Circle Tour and Blue Lagoon. The coach was very comfortable and the tablets supplying information was a great addition. Our tour guide Monika was also very informative. The golden circle tour stops are 3 destination, first stop was 45 minutes but ideally would've liked a full hour. The second stop was for 1 hour but given it was just the geyser we felt 45 mins here would have been plenty with the extra 15 minutes being allocated to the first stop. The 3rd stop was my favourite at the gullfoss Waterfall, this was also to be our lunch break and total time was 1 hour, again an extra 15 minutes here would have been nice. We got back to the bus terminal an hour early so we could have easily stayed a bit longer at each of the 3 stops. Nevertheless, because we were an hour early we were able to head to the blue lagoon earlier which was a great bonus for us as we loved the blue lagoon so much. The prepaid entry made things very efficient. The return bus back to Reykjavik was
