We had this trip included as part of our Secret Escapes holiday & had a fab time. The crew are very friendly & offer advice re how to walk on the stairs while at sea, offer warm overalls (which cover your clothes) to wear if you are up on deck. We didn’t wear these this but wished we had! They also offer sea sickness pills. I had taken my own a couple of hours before & was glad I did. It was a cold sunny day & the sea was like a mill pond as we left the harbour but did get rather choppy/rocky as we got out further out. A few people were being ill. The cruise lasts for 3 hours & we got to see lots of dolphins & minky whales. There was a marine biologist on board who gave a running commentary the whole trip & told us when/ where she’d spotted the dolphins/ whales. We didn’t get many good photos but if you email Elding they will send you their photos from the trip. It was a very enjoyable afternoon & would recommend this if you are visiting Reykjavík

Our guide for the quads, James was very friendly and gave us an awesome tour I wish we could have booked a longer time with him an hour wasn't enough.
The whale watching tour was equally good we saw several whales and dolphins/ porpoise as well as many birds including Puffins, we also got engaged on the boat.

The ATV and Whale watching was a really great time!

Quad Bike Adventure - Led by a guy named Christian was a whole lot fun! The Quads are really easy to drive and they prepare you with giant jumpsuits and helmets and gloves. The trip starts off on streets and then quickly takes you off road where you will fly past a lake and up into trails with puddles and some fun terrain. You will get to the top of a hill that overlooks the city for some pictures. I really enjoyed this.

The Whale watching was also a lot of fun, we spotted a few Minke whales, dolphins and some birds doing aerial battle. Again they provide you with warm jumpsuits for all kinds of sizes for adults and children.

I highly recommend this excursion!
