We booked this tour from Trip Advisor which was cheaper than the tour guys on the beach of Old Town, PV. We left the port over an hour late because of a cruise ship arriving. The breakfast was good but we were starving by that time. The boat ride is 2.5 hours long and was a bit wavy so take your motion sickness medication. We were dropped off by the islands to snorkel, which was terrible, the water was so churned up and we hardly saw any fish. After a few minutes and by following the crowd, we had to swim to the beach. My husband and I are not great swimmers, we wore the complimentary life jackets but were not allowed to wear our snorkel fins. The staff that was in the water with us were very attentive and realized that another person and myself were having a tough time in the waves trying to reach the beach. They retrieved us and got us into a boat to be dropped off closer to the beach. We spent maybe 10 minutes on the beach, me just catching my breath. We did not go to the

Poor snorkeling experience. The open bar was only open on the return trip and the food was barely tolerable. Jonathan and Rogelio were great, but the captain is not to be trusted. I paid for the hidden beach add-on and am sure he swindled me out of an additional $20.

The staff is very friendly and the food is ok. However, the music was unbearable and boring (too much local music that only the staff knew) and this was on both ways (going and coming back). Also I didn’t like that during the trip that takes 2 hrs btw, the host explain the activities that were include in our reservation and the ones that were not and we have to pay more money that we were not expecting to spend.

El catamarán para empezar esta viejo y feo, eso si la comida si estaba rica, nos ofrecieron la entrada a playa escondida (o playa del amor) y yo quería entrar y me dijeron que ya no había cupo y que solo iban a pelear tres lugares de unos extranjeros, por cierto y yo le decía que también pidiera el mío, pero no., no quiso la muchacha y solo le dio preferencia a los extranjeros. También el tour ecológico tiene precio extra, igual vale la pena tomarlo si no puedes entrar a playa escondida. Nos dan muy poco tiempo en la playa la nopalera, deberían dar mas tiempo ya que es muy bella y se disfruta mucho. Les recomiendo que si toman este tour, lo tomen desde un punto mas cercano a las Islas Marietas, como en Sayulita o Punta de Mita, ya que desde la Marina de Puerto Vallarta es larguísimo el viaje y enfadoso y te mareas. Very friendly and helpful. Food was great! I just wish the weather would have been a bit better. If you want to be out all day, this is the trip for you! 12 hours from the very start to finish.??
