We biked to Gibbston to enjoy some wineries and have lunch. Easy to book, lovely staff, great e-bikes (would definitely recommend if you haven’t tried them before - they make the hills abundantly easier and you have more time to enjoy the insane scenery!) and the pick up at the end of the day was easy and appreciated!
A brilliant day yesterday hiring 2 ebikes! Fantastic contactless collection and the staff made everything seamless from making our booking to picking up our bikes on the day. A really enjoyable and scenic cycle, definitely recommend - thanks team!
The team are awesome, The bikes are in fantastic condition and the experience is fantastic. They will even collect the wine you’ve purchased along the way so you don’t need to bike with. Nothing is a problem
We hire four electric bikes for the family and picked them up from downtown. The staff were incredibly helpful, fitted us to our bikes and ran us through everything. We rode right around to Jacks Point - around 50kms (only using less than half of our battery life) - you go at your own pace, fast or slow (generally fast) I would definitely do this again and use Around the Basin again. It was so fun and the ability to just keep going for hours really helped the kids. I got a puncture just as we arrived back at the town so not an issue.
The amazing views of the lake and the picturesque surroundings were so spectacular as we biked along the lakeside trail from Jacks Point to Queenstown. We were a group of 7 with ages ranging from 30-68, the first 5-10 min was quite steep down hill so some of us chose to wheel our electric bikes down. We did this at our own pace taking many photos and stopping off for a well deserved drink at 'Altitude Brewery/Wine Bar' Frankton Marina. The electric bikes were relatively easy to manage and it was great to have the power heading up a few steeper trails. We would all highly recommend this day out. We were picked up from QT at 10.30am and started biking at 11am. After our great day and finishing at Altitude we were finished back in Queenstown at 3pm.
