Transport yourself back into a time gone by, as the early explorers did many centuries ago, to ride on the back of a horse. Discover in a fun way the natural treasures of Quepos Mountains where, even today, a SUV cannot take you. Your horseback adventure begins a picturesque rural village called Londres de Quepos, located at only 30 minutes ride from your selected hotel in Manuel Antonio. Here you will arrive into a private farm that combine a corral and the stables with tourist facilities like bathrooms and an open-air waiting area where the professional guide will assign you a trained and calm horse that will be your mate along the tour. Also, you will receive a brief explanation about the best way to ride the horse and safety tips. You will practice a while before heading out to explore the rainforest. Hit the amazing views along the trail as you gently ascend during one hour and 15 minutes though the valley between secondary rainforest and small streams, surrounded by the exotic tropical flora and local wildlife, such as birds, mammals and reptiles. Halfway, you will be impressed by a hidden waterfall where you can lounge on the water’s edge, take pictures and why not, enjoy a refreshing dip in a natural pool.
