Monteverde is in one of the world’s most recognized and wonderful cloud forest and it is well known for its wide biodiversity. Your will travel in a comfortable van/bus for 20 minutes from your selected hotel and will arrive to the Sky Adventures park, where the professional guides will provide you with the high quality equipment that you will require, followed with the safety instructions to enjoy this excursion without worries. During the first part of the tour, you will aboard the sky tram, which is a system of gondolas that rise smoothly (10 minutes) through the cloud forest, offering you up endless views of the mountains. Once at the top of the continental division, you will experience the best and safest ziplines in Costa Rica, the sky trek that consists of a system of 7 cables that hang from platform to platform above the forest canopy, which together has a distance of 3 km (1.8 miles) of linear cable and 2 hours of duration. Zip lines have been constructed under the highest standards of quality and safety, so you can enjoy a unique adrenaline rush at extreme heights of 150 mts (492 feet), with distances ranging up to 750 mts (2500 feet) and speeds up to 70km (43 miles) per hour. To finish the tour in the best way, you can complement it with the activity called Vertigo Drop. You will jump to 25 meters of fall, where the first 12 meters you will feel like a bungee (free fall), but in the rest 13 meters, you will have a soft and controlled descent. It is performed on the last Sky-Trek cable and as an optional alternative for the not so daring, we offer a controlled descent to finish the tour.
