Located just steps away from Piazza di Spagna and Via Condotti, the hotel has been transformed into a contemporary luxury retreat while preserving its timeless charm.

The hotel’s origins date back to the mid-16th century when it served as a noble residence for guests of Palazzo Torlonia. Over the years, it has hosted distinguished figures such as Romantic poets John Keats, Byron, and Shelley, writer Henry James, and Hollywood legends like Elizabeth Taylor, Gregory Peck, and Ernest Hemingway.

The recent renovation involved the historic façade, protected by the Fine Arts Authority, as well as the guest rooms, suites, the Café Romano restaurant, and its intimate lounges. Italian artisans have masterfully infused elegance and sophistication into every detail, inviting guests to embark on a timeless journey.

The Albergo d’Inghilterra offers a haven of contemporary luxury. Guests can look forward to enchanting atmospheres, impeccable comfort, and a redefined hospitality experience as this historic hotel begins a new chapter in its illustrious story.
