EVA Airways: Elevating Global Travel

Evergreen Group Chairman and Founder Dr. Chang Yung-Fa established EVA Airways in 1989, bringing the esteemed transportation legacy and commitment to quality service from its sister company and container-shipping leader, Evergreen Line, into the aviation industry. He commissioned 26 brand-new aircraft and set exceptionally high standards for both service quality and safety.

For over 30 years, EVA Airways has upheld this dedication to excellence. Today, it is recognized as a 5-Star Airline by the international quality rating organization SKYTRAX—a prestigious designation that places EVA among the world’s leading airlines.

EVA is also a proud member of the Star Alliance network. Through this global alliance, the airline offers passengers access to an extensive network of over 1,160 destinations across more than 192 countries, delivering seamless international travel services. Additionally, EVA provides strategic advantages within Asia through its centrally located hub at Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan.
