Zurich is the biggest Swiss city and its first economical center. This tour will bring you in small streets, squares and hidden places of Zurich’s Old City on both banks of Limmat river. On the left bank, the Schipfe, heart of old Zurich and Lindenhof which offers an overview on the center, St Peter’s church, the oldest of the city, which strict exterior contrasts with its richly decorated interior of Baroque times, Frauenmünster. On the right bank, and on your way to the cathedral where reformer Zwingli preached, the Spiegelgasse has numerous historical buildings, such as Lenin’s house, where in exile, he prepared the Russian revolution and Cabaret Voltaire, birthplace of Dadaism, which is still perpetuating Tristan Tzara’s movement nowadays.

Bern
Walking tour including visit inside the famous Clock Tower (Zytglogge)

Discover the Old City of Berne, registered at the Unesco World Heritage. Walk around its medieval and Renaissance streets marked out by numerous and typical fountains. It is said that Berne is the biggest mall in the world with its 6-km long arcades sheltering shops. Some places on the top of the city walls will provide nice views on the below flowing Aare river which surrounds the city on three quarters, as well as on the beautiful Bernese Alps.
