New Aircraft

Highlights include the Boeing 787-9 with upgraded Polaris Studio suites, the Coastliner A321neo for premium transcontinental travel, the long-range A321XLR opening new international routes, and a redesigned CRJ450 regional jet featuring refreshed interiors and added storage. Together, these innovations reflect United’s continued investment in a more modern, premium travel experience.

United Relax Row

United’s new Relax Row redefines long-haul Economy travel with a flexible three-seat setup that transforms into a cozy lie-flat space after takeoff. Ideal for families, couples, or solo travelers, the experience includes adjustable leg rests, plush bedding, pillows, and family-friendly extras for added comfort. Launching in 2027 on select Boeing 787 and 777 aircraft, Relax Row offers a more spacious and relaxing way to fly without upgrading cabins.

Introducing Chef's Table

United Polaris elevates inflight dining with globally inspired menus, multi-course meals, complimentary premium beverages, and flexible express dining options tailored to each traveler’s preference. Guests can also enjoy midflight snacks, a second dining service, and indulgent made-to-order ice cream sundaes. Beginning August 1, United will partner with Chef’s Table to introduce exclusive menus crafted by renowned chefs from cities across its network, bringing a more elevated culinary experience to the skies.

Entertainment & wifi

United is enhancing the inflight experience with next-generation entertainment and high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi designed to keep travelers connected from gate to gate. Passengers can enjoy personalized entertainment, live TV, movies, flight updates, and onboard dining menus through upgraded seatback screens and personal devices. With Starlink, United is introducing faster, low-latency internet for streaming, gaming, shopping, and productivity across more than 1,000 aircraft, delivering a more seamless and connected journey.

More Ways to Asia

United Airlines is expanding its Pacific network with exciting new nonstop routes to Asia, including New York/Newark to Seoul, Chicago to Tokyo-Narita, and San Francisco to Sapporo. These additions strengthen United’s position as the leading U.S. carrier across the Pacific, offering travelers more convenient access to Japan and South Korea. The new services provide connections, Dreamliner aircraft, and opportunities for winter travel, cultural exploration, and business trips.
